Another Brown & Gold (but RHD)!

Another brown & gold Carrera is on offer, this time a RHD 1974 in Bitter Chocolate down under in Australia. Equipped with sunroof, chrome trim that contrasts nicely with the brown, Bilstein shocks, regular seats, and unusual mirror that is possibly original.

Gold center Fuchs with highly polished inner/outer lips, which would have been a styling change by a later refurbishment of the wheels. Whale tail and front spoiler were also added later, likely when this Carrera was last repainted. Toolkit is from a later model 911 and not original to this Carrera.

Engine appears to be correct, though could be presented better. A few minor cosmetic issues such as decals that could be corrected with a serious detail. The engine is numbers matching as per the COA.

Description from the seller:

COMING SOON, REGISTER YOUR INTEREST NOW ! If you cant quite stretch to the $400k youll need to buy an original RHD 911 Carrera 2.7 RS then not look at the 2.7 Carrera produced for the 74 & 75 model years. With the near identical RS spec power train, RS touring weight and equally low production numbers, it has the same go and same exclusivity with just 1036 coupes produced worldwide (1544 in total ). These cars were seriously quick in their day with Auto Motor & Sport quoting a 0-100 kmph time of 6.1 seconds. They were also unmistakeable with their distinct engine note that is synonymous with the mechanical fuel injection cars. This particular 2.7 Carrera was built in Dec 1973 for the 74 model year and was sold as a factory RHD car through Porsche Cars Great Britain ( Authenticity certificate provided ). It is still in its original delivery spec being Bitter chocolate in colour (re-painted ) with Cinnamon leatherette interior ( fully re-trimmed), factory sunroof and crested wheel centres (re-painted). Genuine jack, air compressor and toolkit also supplied. Engine and chassis numbers are also correct and matching. It was purchased and imported into Australia in 2011, prior to that it was owned for approx 25 years by the same gentleman in the UK. Although the car does not have its original books, there is a number of invoices from Porsche specialists verifying mileage throughout this period. To re establish what condition the car was actually in when first imported, the car was delivered to us for a thorough inspection and going over. This lead to a number of initial jobs being attended to totalling approx $6,500. Since then the car has been driven, re-assessed and subsequently had another $11,000 spent. This has brought the car up to its stunning present condition. We have copies of all invoices and are happy to share what work has been done. Currently registered on Historic plates but is also eligible for full unrestricted road registration. Be quick, as usual the best cars never last long.

Offered for $119,900 AUD (approx. $114k USD).
