A noticeable trend continues of the Carrera MFI getting more recognition in magazines, enthusiast websites, and in discussions on Porsche forums.The latest is GT Porsche's July 2012 issue #128 which contains a seven page article titled WHAT'S THE CATCH?. The article compares the 1973 Carrera RS to the 1974 Carrera 2.7 MFI with their brief description of the article stating: Here are two 911s built six months apart, with near identical mechanical specifications and built in equally low volumes. So why is one worth over four times that of the other? We profile the 2.7 Carrera and Carrera 2.7 RS.
